Marujo came as a 4 year old directly from Portugal to Germany. It was the first import of a horse for his owner Stephanie Dähn. In his pedigree are the famous Veiga lines and he is bred as a bullfighting horse. Grown up wild in a big herd he settled down in Germany surprisingly fast.

His training was not easy all the time. Very often he lost his control because of his high spirit. But his talent was never doubted. We trained the horse on a regular basis over the years.

Nowadays he is calmer and more concentrated even though he is still very eager to work. Piaffe is his favourite movement and he does it with engagement and very fluently. He has a super character which is a breeding goal of the Lusitanos by the way. The friendly and willing mind is typical for this breed.
